Business Development Endosurgery
At SIXHUNTERS we are seeking a Business Development for an international company in the early stages of growth in Spain dedicated to design and development of medical devices.
TASKS:
- Identify, build, manage and grow an effective network of distributors, sub-distributors & independent sales agents to increase product penetration as per organizational business and growth objectives.
- Participate in annual budgeting exercise and contribute relevant information pertaining to assigned territory as per planning format.
- Liaising with hospital purchase/procurement department & surgery OR stores to ensure optimal levels of inventory at each account by coordinating with channel partners/country head.
- To build and maintain a formal business relationship with hospital finance department for timely receipt of payments.
- Undertake an in-depth market mapping exercise, adopt a dynamic method to capture real time market intelligence & analyze this data for use in business strategy.
- Identify Endo-surgical specializing in advanced surgical techniques in assigned territory & explore business opportunity.
- Regularly meet Surgeons, Hospital Buying Committees/GPOs/key decision makers, Key OR/OT personnel independently and/or with channel partners to articulate the technology of company using product presentations & demonstration kits, clinical research publications and/or clinical trials programs, exchange updates on product and technology, for purchase discussions/negotiations.
- Follow organizational objectives to ensure high degree of compliance in business and ensure high integrity and ethical standards in transactions with all stake holders.
- Acquire a thorough scientific & technological knowledge of the product portfolio.
- To ensure proper scientific and technological training of all key personnel within assigned territory.
REQUIREMENTS:
Main requirements
- At least 3-5 years of experience in Endo-Surgery field as a front-line sales manager for endo-mechanical staplers.
- Additional experience in selling of other endo-surgical products such as surgical sutures, hernia solutions, bio-surgical solutions would be a plus.
- Nursing Graduates / Life Science Graduates / Biomedical Engineers / Business Management (MBA) / Other relevant degrees will be considered.
- Native Spanish and Business level proficiency in English.
- Additional language skills would be a plus but not mandatory.
